The aim of the project United Vision: See the Game Differently was to promote the social inclusion of visually impaired youth through sports, particularly Blind Football. The main idea was to use sport as a universal tool to break down barriers, foster empathy, and raise social awareness among young people from different backgrounds and countries. We wanted to achieve the following: Raise social awareness about the challenges faced by blind and visually impaired people: Through joint educational and sports activities, we offered participants a unique perspective and helped them understand the world through a different lens. Strengthen the social and intercultural competences of participants: Young people from Poland, Hungary, and Latvia collaborated in international groups, learning empathy, communication, and teamwork. Inspire young people to take action for social inclusion: We encouraged participants to actively engage in post-project dissemination by organising local workshops, presentations, and publications promoting equality and diversity. Provide high-quality educational experiences for participants: Through non-formal learning methods such as blind football training sessions, workshops using simulation goggles, and storytelling activities, participants developed soft skills and social awareness. The project addressed several Erasmus+ programme priorities, including promoting inclusion and diversity, active youth participation, and shared EU values such as equality, human dignity, and respect for human rights.
