With our project, we aimed to draw attention to gambling addiction, which is an important problem that individuals and societies face, and to raise awareness on this issue. Gambling addiction is a problem that negatively affects not only the economic situation of individuals, but also their health, family relationships, social life and professional development. For this reason, we aimed to both raise awareness about methods of combating addiction and to ensure that young people avoid risky behaviors that may lead to addiction and to develop awareness. Within the scope of our project, we supported the participants' individual development, encouraged them to be socially sensitive individuals and introduced them to the Erasmus+ program and made them aware of international opportunities. During the project, participants learned methods of combating gambling addiction through interactive trainings, workshops, group activities and discussions, and were able to develop their cultural understanding and communication skills by collaborating with individuals from different cultures. Our Goals - To raise awareness about gambling addiction and to emphasize the negative effects of this problem on individuals and society, - To help participants improve their English communication skills and encourage them to participate more actively in international projects, - To ensure that participants stay away from prejudice, discrimination and racism, and to contribute to them becoming inclusive and tolerant individuals, - To increase intercultural interaction and enable young people to communicate with different societies, - To develop cooperation, team spirit and leadership skills by enabling participants to gain learning skills through group work, - To provide information about Erasmus+ and Youthpass and to guide them on how they can benefit from these opportunities in the future, - To raise awareness about digital competence, inclusiveness and environmental sustainability, - To encourage participants to benefit from equal opportunities, - To teach participants and the target audience ways to combat gambling addiction, - To develop sensitivity and sense of responsibility towards global problems in participants and society. By carrying out our project, we aimed not only to raise awareness about gambling addiction, but also to support the personal and social development of the participants, and to make them more active, conscious and individuals who benefit society. In the long term, various dissemination activities have been planned and implemented to spread the knowledge and experience gained through this project to wider audiences and to create a positive change in society. With these activities, awareness activities have been made available to wider target audiences.
