Our goal in implementing the project "Stained Stories | Art as Self Expression" was to support young people from different countries in developing artistic and social skills by using art as a tool for self-expression. The project aimed to integrate participants from Poland, Ukraine, Estonia and Hungary in order to promote mutual understanding, cultural diversity and European values. We wanted to create a space where young people could express their emotions, develop creativity and build a sense of community. Our priority was to include people with fewer opportunities and counteract social exclusion by providing equal opportunities for participation. In the project, we focused on developing key skills such as teamwork, communication, project management and the ability to reflect, which are necessary to function in a dynamic society. The project also aimed to promote art as a means of emotional support and a tool for overcoming personal barriers. Thanks to workshops on glass painting, clay sculpting and mosaic, participants had the opportunity to develop artistic talents and acquire new competences in an international environment. Our activities were fully aligned with the goals of the Erasmus+ programme, such as inclusion, diversity, sustainable development and supporting youth civic activity. Through daily integration activities, group reflections and dissemination activities, the project contributed to building lasting relationships between participants, strengthening their European identity and developing awareness of the role of art in building intercultural bridges.
