The "Smart My City" project was initiated in response to the needs of young people who wish to actively participate in shaping modern, environmentally friendly, and innovation-driven local communities. Its main goal was to raise participants' awareness of the smart city concept and the role of modern technologies in improving the quality of life in urban areas. The project aimed to develop young people's knowledge, skills, and attitudes through non-formal education, international exchange of experiences, and joint activities with partners from Portugal and Slovakia. A key objective was also to promote pro-environmental attitudes, strengthen civic and digital competencies, and support the integration of young people with fewer opportunities. The project sought to inspire action for local development and foster dialogue between youth and decision-makers, emphasizing the importance of social engagement and international cooperation.
