Objectives

The primary aim of the "Stress Mindfulness" project was to raise awareness among young people about the increasing issues of stress, burnout, and mental health challenges that many youths face today. The project focused on both understanding these problems and equipping participants with practical tools to manage and reduce stress. Main objectives of the project were: - To educate participants about stress, burnout, and their consequences, helping them to understand the causes and how to effectively deal with them. - To introduce and practice various stress management techniques, such as mindfulness, yoga, and meditation, so participants can incorporate them into their daily routines. - To promote the benefits of nature-based learning, emphasizing how outdoor and experiential learning differs from traditional education and supports well-being. - To develop recommendations for youth workers and NGOs, helping organizations build routines and tools for managing stress and preventing burnout in youth work. - To strengthen participants' competencies in designing, planning, and implementing non-formal and outdoor learning activities aimed at stress management. - To stimulate non-formal learning and peer-to-peer education, encouraging participants to learn from each other and share experiences. - To introduce the Erasmus+ programme to participants, motivating them to engage in future international cooperation and youth mobility projects. By achieving these objectives, the project empowered participants with lifelong tools to improve their mental resilience, foster personal development, and promote well-being in their communities.
