The aim of the YOUthful Balance project was to address the problems identified by young people as particularly relevant, including the lack of daily contact with nature, insufficient mental health education, and the increasing prevalence of anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem among young people. As part of the project implementation: -participants’ knowledge of mental health, well-being techniques, and outdoor education was increased, as confirmed by the results of pre- and post-project surveys; -participants’ awareness of mental health in different countries was raised, and they were provided with practical information on where and how to seek support; -participants were introduced to mindfulness techniques, which were regularly applied during the project activities as tools for coping with stress and anxiety; -outdoor education was promoted as an effective method for maintaining life balance, mental calmness, and psychological well-being; -participants were equipped with practical tools, including self-talk, stress management, and resilience-building methods, supporting better self-understanding and cooperation in a multicultural environment. The implementation of the project confirmed the relevance and validity of the adopted objectives and their alignment with the real needs of young people. The achieved results contributed to the development of participants’ key competences, the strengthening of their mental well-being, and the increased inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. The project objectives were fully aligned with the priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme and the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027, particularly in the areas of mental health, competence development, and social inclusion.
