Objectives

Through the realization of the project, we aimed to achieve the following goals: 1. To show and make participants and their peers aware that a lot depends on ourselves, and that the European Union has provided wonderful opportunities for this over more than 20 years. 2. To encourage self-improvement, activation, and to stop remaining inactive by realizing the exchange program. 3. To promote democratic and European values. 4. To build European citizenship. 5. To actively involve young people in building the future of Europe. 6. To encourage peers from the local environment to participate more actively in social and public life, and to be active citizens in their own countries. 7. To develop a sense of solidarity, particularly strengthening social cohesion within the European Union. 8. To promote European cooperation regarding youth issues and activities. 9. To develop language and digital competencies. 10. To promote tolerance, openness, and cooperation among youth from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Lithuania. 11. To actively involve youth in public life and local activities (e.g., we met with the Youth City Council in Tarnów, we organized a festival with community participation). As part of achieving the goal of actively involving youth in public life and building civic attitudes, the project participants undertook concrete actions at the local level. This was demonstrated, among other things, by meeting with the Youth City Council in Tarnów, which enabled direct dialogue with local government representatives, organizing a local festival with broad community participation, and also creating dissemination materials, including recording a project video. These initiatives aimed to stimulate their peers towards social and public activity and to translate the knowledge acquired during the international workshops into practical actions within their own environments.
