The project "EcoVision: Inspiring Change for a Cleaner World" is an international meeting of young people from Central and Eastern European countries, which aims to increase the involvement of young people in the local, national and European community, by simulating participation in democratic processes, in active actions for the environment. We believe that building awareness among young people about how great the human impact on the environment is, and how important it is to take care of it, is insanely important from the perspective of people of the 21st century, who have to deal with many problems created by the overexploitation of the environment in previous centuries. The aim of the project is to share experiences among young people so that they learn as many good practices as possible that will allow each individual to take care of the planet. The main element of the project is a 11-day meeting of a group of 35 young people (with the support of the one youthworker) from different European countries, where, through various working methods and meetings with invited guests, we want to raise the level of our social commitment, as well as learn about our own cultures and, in the process, learn the attitude of openness and tolerance, which are listed as one of the basic values of the European Union.
