The project aimed to help youth workers grow both personally and professionally. The goal was to give them the knowledge and tools they need to better support young people, especially those dealing with mental health challenges, low self-esteem, or social difficulties. Through this project, youth workers would learn how to use photography as a way to help young people express themselves and reflect on their emotions. THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT WERE Improve communication skills and the ability to build trust with young people. Learn how to recognize signs of mental health issues in youth and understand how to respond. Provide tools that help young people understand themselves better and grow in self-awareness. Teach basic photography skills like using a camera, adjusting lighting, and composing images. Show how photography can be used to explore and talk about mental health topics. Create safe and open environments where young people feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences. Learn how to evaluate the success of the project and find ways to improve future activities. Help participants see how better communication can positively affect young people’s development. Encourage youth workers to share their experiences and learn from each other by creating a supportive network.
