The main motivation behind the initiative was the desire to address key challenges faced by contemporary youth, with a particular focus on language barriers and difficulties in intercultural communication. The direct inspiration for the three-person initiative group was their participation in the "(Ś)migaj kulturalnie" event, which highlighted the diversity of sign and gesture systems used in communication with deaf people across different countries, thereby emphasizing the need to build a deeper understanding of cultural differences. Through the implementation of the project, the aim was to break down youth communication barriers resulting both from a lack of language proficiency and from shyness or fear of peer criticism. The project aimed to equip participants with practical tools and skills that helped them overcome these limitations and enabled their development in the field of public speaking and intercultural relations. As part of the activities, it was planned to conduct concise, accessible language lessons based on the micro-learning model. Through the application of activating methods (visual and kinesthetic) as well as modern digital tools, an interactive and friendly learning environment was created in non-formal education settings. Combining the exploration of European cultures with thematic language sessions was intended to encourage young people to open up to the world, broaden their horizons, as well as promote attitudes of tolerance, acceptance of diversity, and the building of lasting international bonds. Additionally, the project aimed to enable participants to reflect on their own values and beliefs through direct contact with other cultures and languages. The activities also sought to enhance their independence in key areas of life (including financial management) and to help them discover their personal potential and strengths while independently planning and undertaking their journeys. Objectives of the "Culture on the tip of the tongue" journey defined by the young people: increasing the understanding of cultural diversity expanding knowledge of European cultures exploring personal interests and passions self-discovery and achieving personal goals raising awareness among European citizens regarding their own cultures strengthening European belonging enhancing soft skills improving language skills overcoming communication barriers
