Objectives

The main objective of the project was to develop and test an innovative educational approach combining STEM education with artistic and creative elements in order to increase students’ engagement and support the development of key competences. The project aimed to strengthen students’ skills in creative thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and learning through experience. Another important objective was to enhance teachers’ competences in interdisciplinary work and in the use of modern teaching methods and digital tools, including the application of artificial intelligence in education. The project also sought to support students’ mental well-being and to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. In addition, the project aimed to foster international cooperation and exchange of good practices, as well as to develop sustainable educational outcomes that can be used by schools and organisations beyond the duration of the project.

Background

We applied for the implementation of this project in response to the need to introduce modern and engaging teaching methods that combine STEM education with creative and social elements. The project addressed challenges related to motivating students, developing key competences, and increasing their engagement in the learning process. At the same time, the project responded to the need to support teachers in developing interdisciplinary approaches and using experiential and collaborative learning methods. An additional context was the growing importance of students’ mental well-being and the need to strengthen skills such as cooperation, creative thinking, and problem-solving. The project enabled schools and partner organisations to test innovative educational solutions and exchange experiences in an international environment, contributing to improved quality of education and better preparation of students for functioning in a rapidly changing world.
