With this project, we promoted environmental awareness, the reduction of the ecological footprint and the adoption of sustainable practices in the school community. We aimed to integrate sustainability into the curriculum, improve teaching skills, combat school dropout, strengthen critical thinking, communication in English, motivation and teamwork, while also valuing middle leadership and the school's international dimension.
The school, in Loures and part of the TEIP program, covers pre-school to secondary education, including vocational courses and Adult Education and Training. It also offers PLNM and PLA, promoting inclusion. The student population, aged between 18 and 70, is diverse, with many foreign students. It faces challenges such as school dropout, indiscipline and a lack of ecological citizenship skills.
