The project aimed to strengthen students' personal, social, communication and language skills, particularly in English, increasing their motivation and consequently their academic success. The project also aimed to combat early school leaving, promote equal opportunities and social inclusion, and provide staff with better teaching skills through participation in training courses in line with European best practices.
This project responded to the internationalisation needs of the Novos Horizontes Vocational School, as set out in its European Development Plan, as a strategy for improving the quality of vocational education. The Erasmus+ project arose from the need to strengthen students' professional, communication and interpersonal skills and promote the professional development of staff, aligning training with the demands of the labour market.
