The project aimed at three central objectives: 1) To promote active citizenship and European values, fostering tolerance and inclusion; 2) To enhance the technical and transversal curriculum of students and staff, combining new technological skills and autonomy with EU Europass certification; 3) To maximize the employability of trainees in the European labor market and to modernize the school's pedagogical practices through the observation of innovative methodologies during staff mobilities.
Escola Digital is a Portuguese vocational school focused on information technologies. The project arose from the need to internationalize our institution and modernize pedagogical practices by empowering our staff. Simultaneously, we sought to provide our students (several with fewer opportunities) with a real immersion in the European labor market, vital for their technical development, while fostering active citizenship and social inclusion in Europe.
