Objectives

The fourth year (2024) of implementation of the Aventura Marão Clube (AMC) YOUTH Accreditation activity plan was outlined as planned, ensuring the implementation of two activities (two Youth Exchanges), focusing on the objective for which they were initially conceived: - The Youth Exchange “Street Art: creativity and innovative culture!” on Objective 1 (values) which allowed stimulating creativity and community-based cultural events, through the application of a Non-Formal Education methodology (Street Art) to the young participants; - The Youth Exchange “Fit for Kids: fight against youth obesity!” on Objective 4 (collaboration) which allowed sharing, adapting and applying a very interesting approach to combating obesity among young people (and increasing quality of life) through sports and nutritional counseling. The main objective of the projects, according to the YOUTH Accreditation activity plan, was: Objective 1: VALUES – promote and practice the values we defend. We intend to continue practicing the values and principles we defend in all the activities and projects in which we are involved. Furthermore, we want our participants (young people and youth workers) to be able to change their lifestyles (healthier), consumption (more sustainable) and participation (more active) and act as agents of change in their own communities. Objective 4: COLLABORATION – promote the spirit of cooperation and collaboration among partners. We aim to support and create conditions for the development of local/international partnerships and initiatives that lead to a more structured dialogue and, thus, allow for closer and more sustained cooperation between the different actors in society: citizens, organizations, companies and public entities.
