Countries: PT · Grant: €48,013

Objectives

The main purpose of the project was to achieve the objectives defined in the Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation, consolidating a long-term European educational strategy focused on the quality, continuity and impact of international mobility. Through the implementation of the planned activities, the aim was to promote non-formal learning opportunities that strengthened the personal, social and professional development of young people and youth workers, in line with the priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme and the goals of the European Youth Strategy. 1) ENPP aimed, first and foremost, to offer accessible, high-quality mobility opportunities to young people, with a particular focus on those facing social, economic, educational, geographical and/or cultural barriers. These mobility experiences were intended to enable participants to acquire new transversal skills, strengthen their autonomy, develop critical thinking and intercultural cooperation skills, and increase their sense of belonging to a Europe based on diversity, solidarity and democratic participation. By experiencing international and intercultural contexts, young people were able to better understand European values, strengthen their role as agents of change and contribute to more inclusive and dynamic communities. 2) Secondly, the project aimed to create learning opportunities for youth workers and professionals in order to enhance the quality and innovation of youth work. Through training and exchange activities, the professionals involved acquired new methodologies, tools and approaches for intervention, inspired by European good practices and based on non-formal education principles. The project provided spaces for sharing and reflecting on working methods, promoted recognition of the role of technicians in youth training and encouraged the creation of stable cooperation networks between partner organisations from different countries. In addition, the implementation of the activities contributed directly to the strategic objectives defined in our accreditation (2022-1-PT02-KA150-YOU-000091651), namely promoting inclusion and diversity, encouraging the active participation of young people in society, strengthening environmental sustainability, and digitising educational processes. All actions were designed to ensure the integration of these cross-cutting principles, ensuring that the practices implemented complied with E+ quality standards. These activities also played an important role in enhancing local communities and revitalising rural areas by building bridges between local and European contexts. Through the participation of young people from regions with fewer opportunities, territorial cohesion and the visibility of less central areas in the European context were promoted. At the same time, the involvement of foreign partners contributed to the cultural and methodological enrichment of the actions, strengthening international cooperation and intercultural dialogue. The implementation of the planned mobility activities, namely TC and YE, focused on intercultural learning and the promotion of active citizenship, enabled concrete results to be achieved in the development of participants' skills and in strengthening the institutional capacity of ENPP. The activities also made it possible to test and refine new models of collaborative work, increase the visibility of the partner network and establish ENPP as a benchmark in the implementation of sustainable, inclusive Erasmus+ projects with a high social impact. In short, the project contributed to the consolidation of an organisational culture based on continuous learning, European cooperation and the valorisation of youth as a driver of social transformation. By promoting the empowerment of young people and technicians, it fostered intercultural dialogue, social innovation and the construction of a more just, participatory and sustainable Europe.
