With this year's Accreditation, we aimed to increase capacity, awareness, and action—among technicians and young people—to promote human rights, inclusion, and democratic participation, laying the foundations for local projects and lasting networks in Europe. Once again, we wanted to reduce inequalities and encourage civic participation. To this end, we developed: 1. A training course on the theme “Youth Advocates for Human Rights,” which took place between February 3 and 7, 2025, in Guimarães, with the participation of 17 youth technicians, representatives of ADDGH (coordinator) and five international organizations (DAR ASSOCIATION -RO; EKO – GR; LAPIZ LAZULLI – TR; TAVO – LT; WALKTOGETHER – BG). 2. Youth Exchange, under the same theme, which took place between March 31 and April 4, 2025, in Guimarães, with the active participation of 21 young people (all with fewer opportunities) and 5 group leaders from the same sending organizations, with a distribution of 4Y+1GL per organization, with the exception of the coordinator, whose participation was 5 Y+1GL. The methodology used was the same, based on the experiential learning cycle, through the use of Non-Formal Education, with a focus on active participation, collaborative learning, and the development of social and civic skills. All activities were designed to promote understanding and defense of Human Rights, encouraging local action and critical thinking among participants. OBJECTIVES: 1. To train Youth Technicians to design, implement, and evaluate Human Rights Education interventions, equipping them with NFE tools and methodologies and encouraging the planning of local follow-up projects; 2. To raise awareness and empower young people to understand Human Rights, reflect critically on inequality and diversity, and act as agents of change in their communities; 3. Strengthen democratic participation and adherence to EU values and goals by aligning activities with the EU Youth Goals, participation in democratic life, “green” practices, and digital components; 4. Promote inclusion by ensuring the participation of young people with fewer opportunities and adopting support measures and methodologies tailored to their profiles; 5. Develop transversal skills (communication in English, cooperation, literacy, intercultural awareness, critical thinking) essential for active citizenship and employability; 6. Consolidate transnational cooperation networks between partner organizations, favoring the sharing of practices, the creation of new initiatives, and the sustainability of partnerships; 7. Produce concrete results (pedagogical tools, local ideas/projects, Idea Fair events, and Youthpass issuance), enhancing the multiplication and visibility of the learning acquired; 8. Integrate environmental and digital practices, reducing the ecological footprint and combining face-to-face moments with virtual components to improve the quality and reach of learning.
