Objectives

Our project was designed with the ambition of empowering both youth workers and young people, responding in an integrated way to the social and environmental challenges that mark our time. In implementing the activities, we sought to achieve four major objectives that are interlinked and underpin the logic of our Erasmus+ accreditation. 1) First, we wanted to strengthen the preparation of youth workers, equipping them with new skills to act in social and environmental contexts. We believe that if youth workers are better prepared—with tools for action, regenerative practices, and non-formal education methodologies—they will be better able to support young people in an effective, inclusive, and tailored way. 2) Secondly, we wanted to empower young people themselves. We know that they are both the present and the future of society, but also one of the groups most affected by global issues, particularly environmental ones. By promoting their connection with nature, developing green and key skills for the future, and stimulating an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit around eco-social solutions, we sought to increase their critical awareness and activate them to solve community challenges. 3) A third cross-cutting objective was to reinforce European values and common identity. We wanted to raise awareness among both technicians and young people of the importance of democratic participation, respect for human rights, and transnational cooperation. In this sense, the project was also an opportunity to raise awareness of other possibilities within Erasmus+, encouraging participants to become multipliers of these experiences among their peers. 4) Finally, we aimed to foster collaboration and networking, bringing together different organizations and contexts around a shared vision. By coordinating efforts between associations, leaders, and young people from various countries, we believed we could create a more solid learning space with real impact, both locally and across Europe. With this project, our focus remains on “contributing to a movement for change: more technicians capable of providing support, more aware and active young people, more organizations working together, and ultimately a more regenerative, inclusive society that is prepared for global challenges.” This is our motto and our mission.
