Objectives: - To foment young people’s democratic culture and having them engage with different forms of participation; - To promote key-competences development, so that young people feel empowered to participate, regardless of their gender; - To promote young people’s social and political conscience in order to empower them to act against gender inequality; - To raise awareness to the devastating effects of gender inequality in democratic processes, instilling stakeholders, policymakers and the youth sector to take action. YMGA will foster: - The acquisition of factual knowledge on gender inequality; - Key competences development; - Proximity between young people, their peers, policymakers and stakeholders; - Familiarity with democratic participation tools; - Capacity building to use participatory and inclusive methodologies; - Capacity building to positively impact the community.
