Objectives

The main aim of the Plan was to promote inclusion, equality, diversity, and integration among young people and youth workers across Europe and beyond. We wanted to create opportunities for participants to develop practical skills, attitudes, and competences that would enable them to challenge discrimination, promote peer-to-peer education, and foster intercultural understanding in their communities. Objective 1: Reduce discrimination and bullying among young people, focusing on those targeted for physical appearance, disability, gender expression, race, or nationality. The project aimed to support at least 150 victims of bullying and include 50 young people with disabilities in qualitative non-formal education activities. Objective 2: Involve young people as peer educators, empowering them to act as role models in their communities. This approach increased trust, engagement, and openness, while ensuring scalability, as the methods could be used by non-certified trainers to reach more young people locally. Objective 3: Strengthen organizations and youth workers to combat discrimination and foster inclusion. Through peer-to-peer programs like Peers for Integration, participants developed the capacity to run workshops, support vulnerable groups, and act as ambassadors of non-formal education. Many partner organizations also adopted these methods in their local and international activities, amplifying the impact. Overall, the project sought to create lasting individual, organizational, and change at community level, equipping participants and partners with instruments and methods to promote equality, inclusion, and peer-to-peer learning beyond the mobilities.
