Objectives

RAA's strategic objectives, outlined in its strategy and accreditation application, emphasize an integrative approach focused on communities with limited opportunities, especially rural or marginalized areas, and prioritize empowering vulnerable youth. For the first five years of the accreditation, RAA's strategic plan aims to enhance youth engagement in community service and foster their capacity for community involvement. The core goal of the organization, aligned with its mission statement and vision, remains to drive social change through partnerships with local stakeholders and a multidisciplinary approach, delivering educational, social, psychosocial, medical, economic, and well-being services. RAA’s strategic objective specifically includes encouraging youth involvement and volunteering in the community. This goal emphasizes working closely with volunteers and youth, equipping them to create more local opportunities. Key focus areas for the project include tackling youth unemployment, promoting youth community engagement, and expanding non-formal education, training, and exchanges. In its fourth year of accreditation, RAA prioritized mental health and well-being, youth preparedness for the digital world and future job market, as well as social inclusion and participation and participation to community decisions. From RAA's perspective, young people energy and creativity needs to be capitalized on in order built a community with less social exclusion or disengagement. To prepare youth for tomorrow’s world, our actions must respond to their needs, helping them develop autonomy, access diverse resources for personal and professional growth, and build resilience. Recognizing the need for young people to develop skills to navigate complex and diverse social contexts, RAA strives to empower them to contribute meaningfully at all levels. To fulfill this mission, RAA has outlined the following objectives in its five-year plan: O1. To increase youth work competencies for 30% of RAA staff, 20 collaborators and 20 youth workers coming from communities we work for by 2025; O2. To provide learning and development opportunities for minimum 50 young people by organising minimum 2 youth exchanges/year by 2025; O3. To raise youth involvement and participation in RAA activities by 2025 with minimum 50 new volunteers that have been previously involved in O1 and O2; Based on the midterm analysis of the accreditation, these objectives have been revisited and adapted for the next 5 years as following: O1.
