Objectives

In 2024, our accredited youth mobility project built upon previous years’ successes to address the evolving needs of our target groups. We aimed to empower young people and youth workers across digital literacy, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and quality youth work - key objectives in our Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation. The project was designed to stimulate youth participation and social inclusion at local, national, and European levels by engaging diverse participants (including those with fewer opportunities) in a series of international activities. Each activity was tailored to specific thematic needs: promoting digital skills and cultural awareness, fostering creative entrepreneurship, driving climate action and media literacy, and enhancing the quality of youth work practices. By aligning these themes with our strategic goals, we ensured that the project addressed both personal development needs of participants and broader community challenges, thereby contributing to objectives O1, O3, O4, O5, and O6 of our accreditation (quality education in youth work, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and social responsibility). In summary, the project’s objectives were to empower youth and youth workers through non-formal learning, to cultivate leadership and initiative, and to strengthen an international network of organisations committed to high-quality, inclusive youth engagement. Activities were aligned to these goals. A1 developed digital competences and cultural awareness through media work on heritage, serving O3 and O6 and reinforcing inclusion under O2. A2 focused on creative entrepreneurship, directly meeting O4 and advancing O2 by building confidence and equal opportunities. A3 combined climate education with digital advocacy to drive behavior change and civic action, meeting O5 and contributing to O2 and O6. A4 upskilled youth workers and strengthened partnerships, raising overall quality and capacity in the network and meeting O1 while supporting O2, O3, and O5. Alongside the mobilities, we improved internal procedures and digital tools to sustain quality delivery and ran targeted outreach on the European Citizens’ Initiative to connect learning with democratic participation.
