Objectives

Through the implementation of mobilities, we aimed to strengthen the capacity of 95 youth workers and enhance the effectiveness of their daily work with local beneficiaries. The overarching goal was to address key development needs identified during the accreditation process and through pre-mobilities thematic evaluations. We aimed to understand the weak points in their activities related to promoting tolerance towards diversity, active citizenship/youth participation, supporting NEETs through inclusion programs as well as developing their skills in the international youth work realities. Mobility 1 Plural Perspectives 2.0 (02 - 10 November 2024): 1. Enhancing the capacity of 18 NGOs to empower youth in becoming active citizens in their local communities by developing common international projects. Mobility 4 Project Cafe - Building your Connection (29 June – 03 July) 1. Strengthening strategic partnerships and cooperation among 7 youth organizations by facilitating networking and thematic alignment sessions through speed networking and sector-based group discussions. 2. Enhance organizational capacity for inclusive and impactful Erasmus+ projects for 7 entities involved in youth work, by exploring strategies for inclusion, diversity, and intercultural learning. 3. Foster professional development and develop competence of 11 youth workers by understanding the evolving role of international youth workers and equip them with practical tools. We centered the mobility implementation strategy within the whole-year organisational strategy, managing to blend the local raise awareness campaigns with the international mobilities. Specifically, the first mobility, which aimed to increase the capacity of participants in promoting tolerance and combating discrimination, was aligned with follow-up local activities implemented in Bucharest and Ilfov. In the following months, we disseminated the projects' results (Campaign videos), organised the Discrimination Free January and Discrimination Free February raise awareness Campaigns, implemented offline workshops aimed at promoting tolerance and combating discrimination and hate speech by using online tools, quizzes on increasing the knowledge about the topic and relevant tools/institutions, thematic movie nights/debates, training with students, video creation, podcasts, etc.. These activities allowed our youth workers to apply their newly acquired competences directly in our communities. Moreover, the second mobility, focused on developing youth workers' capacity to promote youth participation and active citizenship, was congruent with the local raise awareness Campaigns 'Let's March together' and Proactive April', where we shared the projects' results and implemented civic education sessions, organised online/offline events for increasing our local target groups' level of understanding of youth participation and practical ways of getting involved in the local issues as well as the democratic process. The third mobility supported the inclusion of NEETs and was followed by targeted workshops and online promotional results, helping NEET youth to become aware and access Erasmus+, ESC, and EYE opportunities within the 'May be NEETs' raise awareness campaign. The fourth mobility strengthened strategic partnerships which facilitated ongoing collaboration and the development of new project proposals submitted for the October 2025 Erasmus+ deadline. Nonetheless, all partners implemented such follow-up campaigns within their local communities.
