Through the implementation of the Erasmus+ Accreditation 2024, the CPDIS Association aimed to create a coherent, inclusive, and sustainable educational framework for young people and youth workers. The project aligned with the European Youth Strategy (2021–2027) and the core priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme: inclusion and diversity, digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and civic participation. The overall goal was to empower young people to become active, responsible, and aware European citizens through experiential and non-formal learning processes 1. General objectives To promote active youth participation and civic engagement by providing opportunities for dialogue, cooperation, and intercultural learning in a European context. To improve the quality of youth work and enhance the professional competences of youth workers through international exchanges, training, and cooperation. To foster inclusion and equal opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities, particularly those from rural, economically disadvantaged, or minority backgrounds To promote sustainable development and environmental awareness by integrating green practices and eco-friendly behaviours throughout the project’s activities To strengthen digital competences and critical thinking, preparing both young people and youth workers for an increasingly digital and interconnected world. 2. Specific objectives for participants To develop the Erasmus+ key competences, such as communication, intercultural cooperation, initiative, problem solving, learning to learn, and digital and civic competence To enhance self-awareness and reflection through the Youthpass process, learning diaries, peer feedback, and daily reflection sessions To foster a sense of European identity and intercultural understanding, promoting tolerance, empathy, and respect for diversity. To build self-confidence, resilience, and motivation, especially among participants with fewer opportunities, through teamwork, leadership, and empowerment activities To encourage local civic engagement, inspiring participants to design and implement small-scale community initiatives after their mobility (workshops, campaigns, ecological actions) 3. Organisational objective To strengthen organisational capacity of CPDIS and its partners by applying Erasmus+ quality standards and developing efficient systems for project management, monitoring, and evaluation To build a sustainable European partnership network based on shared values, trust, and long-term cooperation for high-quality youth mobility projects. To develop youth workers’ competences in non-formal education, inclusive facilitation, digital tools, and intercultural communication. To increase Erasmus+ visibility and promote European values at local, regional, and national levels through dissemination events, media collaboration, and intersectoral cooperation. 4. Expected results and intended impac The project aimed to: Create an inclusive learning environment where all young people—regardless of background—could grow personally and professionally. Facilitate the exchange of good practices among youth organisations and improve the overall quality of non-formal education in Europe Generate positive community impact, by engaging participants in volunteering, awareness campaigns, and civic initiatives. Ensure recognition of learning outcomes, through systematic reflection and the use of Youthpass certificates. Develop transferable and sustainable competences, helping young people become active, creative, and responsible citizens at both local and European levels. 5. Alignment with Erasmus+ priorities All activities were designed to respond directly to the key Erasmus+ priorities: Inclusion and Diversity: active involvement of over 30% of participants with fewer opportunities. Environmental Sustainability: promotion of green travel, digital materials, and responsible consumption practices. Digital Transformation: use of collaborative online tools for communication, learning, and evaluation. Participation and European Values: promotion of democracy, solidarity, equality, and active citizenship through practical workshops and simulations. Through these objectives, CPDIS sought to build a long-term educational framework that combines inclusion, cooperation, sustainability, and empowerment. The project successfully provided both young people and youth workers with meaningful learning experiences that led to tangible competence development and long-lasting personal and social impact. By achieving its goals, the accreditation strengthened CPDIS’s role as a reliable European partner and as a driving force in promoting active citizenship, solidarity, and lifelong learning through the Erasmus+ Programme.
