Objectives

Objective 1: Professionalizing staff who work with young people is one of the main points that FITT wishes to address through this accreditation. Improving the quality of activities aimed at young people is directly linked to the professional development of staff and collaborators. At the same time, through new methods of working with young people or improving the methods already used by FITT staff, we are directly responding to challenges 1, 2, 3, and 5 identified in the previous section. Well-trained youth workers with international experience will lead to an increase in the number of young beneficiaries and, in particular, will improve the quality of the projects and services offered to them. Objective 2: Developing youth activities in accordance with the principles listed in the European Charter on Local Action for Youth https://cutt.ly/qjUAKpL will increase the confidence that young people have in influencing the community to which they belong - thus we will respond directly to point 1 and contribute to points 2 and 5. To make this possible, there must be educational activities developed participatively at the level of each community, together with the young people there, but also youth workers who are sufficiently trained to provide young people and local authorities with the support they need. Objective 3: This objective directly addresses the need identified in point 3, as it strengthens and develops the activities of youth centers in the neighborhoods of Timișoara or in localities where there will be youth centers managed by FITT. At the same time, we respond to the challenges identified in point 5 - young people having opportunities for expression and, above all, learning activities in an international context, which will lead to increased confidence in the future. Creating opportunities at the community level where young people live (international mobility) responds to their need to get involved in activities developed by the non-governmental sector (point 2). Objective 4: The objective directly addresses point 1 - young people's confidence that they can influence decisions at various levels. Involving them in participatory processes and, in particular, creating mechanisms to influence decisions will directly increase young people's confidence that they can influence what is happening around them. One of the desired effects is to increase the number of young people who participate in voting.
