Objectives

The implementation of this project aimed to address the challenges faced by young individuals in accessing knowledge and opportunities in sustainable entrepreneurship, specifically in sustainable agriculture. The initiative sought to enhance awareness, understanding, and practical exposure to fundamental aspects of sustainable entrepreneurship, focusing on initiating and developing businesses within the sustainable agriculture domain. Participants were taught essential skills such as where to find proper information, how to verify the validity of information sources, how to create a comprehensive business plan, and the steps to apply for state or European grants. Furthermore, they learned how to draft a correct CV tailored to job applications and explore job opportunities within their own countries and across the EU. These efforts were designed to not only educate but also empower participants to take proactive steps toward sustainable business practices and improved employability. The program highlighted the importance of informed decision-making in entrepreneurship. By teaching participants how to identify trustworthy information and resources, they were better prepared to navigate the often-complex landscape of job markets and funding opportunities. Practical exercises, expert-led sessions, and interactive workshops enabled attendees to engage deeply with the topics, ensuring that they left the program equipped with actionable skills and knowledge. The objectives of our project Objective 1: To increase the knowledge of participants with fewer opportunities from eight countries during the 11 days of mobility about sustainable entrepreneurship and employment opportunities in sustainable agriculture through non-formal education methods facilitated by experienced experts. This objective included practical sessions on locating reliable information, evaluating the validity of sources, and understanding business planning and grant application processes. Objective 2: To facilitate the access of participants to information within the online domain related to sustainable entrepreneurship and employment in both the local and EU labor markets. By providing tools to identify valid information sources and opportunities, this objective ensured that attendees could make informed decisions regarding employment and entrepreneurship. Objective 3: To empower 40 young people facing fewer opportunities, from eight different countries, by enhancing their skills and competencies in sustainable business management and employment within the realm of sustainable agriculture during the 11 days of the mobility program. This goal encompassed training in CV creation, business planning, and strategies for leveraging online platforms for job and grant applications. Objective 4: To encourage intercultural dialogue and foster the spirit of sustainable entrepreneurship among 40 young participants from eight EU and non-EU countries. This aim sought to create a collaborative environment where attendees shared ideas, learned from diverse perspectives, and developed networks to support entrepreneurial innovation and cross-cultural understanding. By addressing these objectives, the project not only aimed to tackle immediate educational and employment challenges but also to instill a sense of resilience and adaptability among participants. The combination of non-formal educational methods and practical activities ensured that participants could apply their learning directly in their communities and future endeavors. Ultimately, the project strived to create a generation of informed, skilled, and motivated individuals ready to contribute meaningfully to sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurial growth.
