The "Entrepreneurial Skill" project was designed to facilitate access to non-formal business education for 33 young people aged between 18 and 25 from Romania, Hungary and Slovakia, where they can develop and improve their entrepreneurial skills, in order to create or find their own job opportunities, without relying entirely on seasonal tourism in their areas. The idea of the project started from the seasonal jobs that young people have in the participating communities in RO, HU and SK, but which, once the operating period of the resorts (mostly ski resorts) passes, they lose their jobs. So, together with our partners, we wanted to help young people from these communities to develop their entrepreneurial skills, in order to be able to build their own businesses and, therefore, job opportunities. In order to find out in more detail the needs of young people in our communities, we carried out together with our partners different researches on the real need for such a project, and based on the answers received, we were able to outline an agenda of activities, which would be as focused as possible on what young people want to learn through such a project. The research took the form of interview discussions, informal discussions and focus groups. In addition to the research done personally by each partner in their own community, we also relied on the study developed by the European Union on the desire of young people in RO, HU and SK to develop their entrepreneurial skills to open their own businesses in the future - https://europa.eu/eurobarometer/surveys/detail/2670. Considering all these aspects, the aim of our project was the following: "To improve entrepreneurship knowledge, skills and attitudes among 33 young people aged 18-25 coming from the above-mentioned communities by the end of the project, thus empowering them to create their own job opportunities that are less dependent on seasonal tourism. " The specific objectives of the project were: O1: Create a context in which 33 young people aged 18-25 from the above mentioned communities will learn business plan development, marketing basics, networking and communication techniques by the end of the project. O2: Develop the financial literacy, risk management abilities, negotiation skills and leadership competences among 33 youngsters aged 18-25 coming from RO, SK and HU by the end of the project. O3: Strengthen the capacity of the partner organizations to support young people develop their entrepreneurial competences by implementing youth exchanges on this topic by the end of the project. By addressing these issues and objectives, our project aimed to act as a catalyst for sustainable socio-economic development in our community and in the communities of our partner organizations. Our project was closely aligned with the general objectives of the Erasmus+ program and with the specific objectives of youth exchanges. Our project was in line with the following priorities of the European Union: "European Skills Agenda" and "European Youth Strategy". The aims and objectives of the project were successfully achieved, as exemplified in the final report. The participants in the youth exchange who were active and willing to get involved throughout the mobility and the follow-up period, the partners - who constantly exercised their expertise to ensure the highest quality project management, and the project team - who contributed to the success of the mobility before, during and even after the mobility - contributed to their achievement.
