Objectives

The objectives of the "Films and NEET" project are as follows: To develop young people's skills and competences related to film production and creative expression, such as script writing, directing and editing. To achieve this objective, we will provide participants with the resources and support they need to learn about and practise various techniques and skills related to script writing, directing, and editing. This will include providing training and workshops on these topics, as well as providing participants with access to equipment and resources that they can use to create their own films. Developing these skills will get more job opportunities on the labour market. To create a series of short films that address the issue of NEET and provide a platform for young people to share their stories and perspectives. This objective is closely tied to the first objective of increasing knowledge and understanding about the causes and consequences of NEET among young people. By creating a series of short films that explore the theme of NEET, we aim to give young people a platform to share their own unique perspectives and experiences with this issue. The films will be created through a collaborative process involving a diverse group of young people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. The goal is to provide a space for young people to express themselves creatively and to share their stories and perspectives on the theme of NEET. The process of creating these films will be a learning experience for the young people involved. They will learn about the various techniques and skills related to script writing, directing, and editing. These skills are valuable for young people in a variety of contexts, including personal and professional development, communication, and creative expression. To use the films as a tool for raising awareness about NEET and engaging with local communities on this issue. By creating a series of short films that address the theme of NEET, we aim to draw attention to this important issue and generate interest and dialogue among young people and the wider community. The films will be used as a starting point for discussions and activities that explore the causes and consequences of NEET and identify ways to prevent or reduce the risk of NEET in local communities. This includes organising film screenings and public events where the films can be showcased and discussed with the wider community. We will also actively distribute the films online through social media and other platforms in order to reach a wider audience. To provide support and guidance to participants in developing their own ideas and projects related to NEET prevention and reduction in their local communities. This involves providing participants with the resources and expertise they need to identify and explore the most pressing needs and challenges related to NEET in their local communities, and to develop creative and effective solutions to address these issues. This includes providing training on project management and youth empowerment, as well as providing mentorship and coaching to help participants develop their ideas and projects. To increase knowledge and understanding about the causes and consequences of NEET among young people. In order to achieve this objective, we will conduct research and gather information about the factors that contribute to the risk of NEET among young people. This will include analysing data on the socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of young people who are at risk of NEET, as well as exploring the personal, social, and economic factors that may contribute to their risk. To identify and explore different approaches and solutions for preventing or reducing the risk of NEET in local communities. To achieve this objective, we will research and evaluate the effectiveness of various strategies and interventions that have been developed to address the issue of NEET. This will include analysing data on the effectiveness of different programs and initiatives, as well as engaging with local experts and stakeholders to gather information about the challenges and opportunities related to NEET in the local area. We will also explore best practices and successful models from other countries and communities, and evaluate their potential for replication and adaptation in the local context. Overall, the "Film and NEET" Youth Exchange project aims to make a positive impact on the lives of the participants by providing them with a unique and enriching learning experience that promotes their personal and social development and helps them to develop the skills and competencies they need to succeed in the future. By achieving these objectives, the project will contribute to the development of youth work practice by helping young people to learn and grow in a meaningful and enriching way.
