Our main objective was to integrate an AI Toolkit and ethical practice guidelines into adult education, aiming to achieve a 25% increase in the their use and enhance the digital competencies, to foster responsible AI usage. As confirmed through post-training evaluations and follow-up feedback, this resulted in a documented 38% increase in the ethically guided use of AI tools and practices. We had also specific objectives like increasing awareness of the latest AI technologies among 90% of the target group by conducting transnational round table, national trainings and dissemination events. Consolidated evaluation data show that 97% of participants reported increased awareness of this. Regarding skills development, the objective was to equip at least 75% of participants with practical AI integration competences. Post-activity assessments indicate that 89% demonstrated the capacity to apply AI tools responsibly in real professional contexts. We established and disseminated a comprehensive Ethical Guidelines, influenced by UNESCO's recommendations, to be adopted by at least 50% of the target group by the end of the project. Follow-up feedback and institutional commitments indicate that 72% of participants initiated concrete steps
We applied for this project in response to a growing need among communication and information professionals to understand and use AI. Content creators, graphic designers, and adult learning trainers increasingly encounter AI tools in their daily work, yet many lack practical guidance on ethical use. This gap created risks related to misinformation, misuse of AI-generated content, and loss of public trust. The project addressed these needs by developing an AI Toolkit, an Ethical Guidelines- Checklist included and an educational animated video that translated complex AI principles into practical, accessible resources. Through training workshops and dissemination events, professionals gained hands-on skills, ethical awareness, and opportunities for dialogue and peer learning. Transnational cooperation was essential to the project’s relevance and impact. Working with an Italian partner enriched the project’s content, encouraged innovation, and enabled the exchange of best practices across regulatory and educational environments. This were adaptable to diverse needs. The project aligned with European values and digital education priorities, promoting ethical AI use beyond the project’s lifespan.
