Through AMPLIFY, we aimed to strengthen the competences of 21 practitioners from Romania, Greece and Hungary working with vulnerable groups, by equipping them with practical tools on inclusion, resilience, self-care and social innovation. The first objective was to increase participants’ capacity to integrate diversity and inclusion principles into their organisational practices and programmes. The second objective was to deepen transnational cooperation through structured learning mobilities, fostering exchange of practices and peer learning across different welfare systems. The third objective was to create a network of practitioners equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to support the most vulnerable and at-risk populations. This involved developing concrete Action Plans and innovative project ideas that could be implemented locally, helping to build more resilient and inclusive communities. Overall, the project aimed to move from reflection to action, transforming professional learning into tangible organisational change.
We applied for the AMPLIFY project in response to clearly identified needs among social and educational practitioners working with vulnerable groups in Romania, Greece and Hungary. Preliminary assessments and organisational experience showed that frontline professionals were operating under high levels of stress, emotional overload and limited institutional support, affecting both their wellbeing and service quality. Across the three countries, practitioners reported burnout risks, insufficient structured peer support and limited opportunities for international exchange. At the same time, organisations faced challenges in integrating diversity, inclusion and resilience into their strategic and operational frameworks. AMPLIFY addressed these needs by creating a structured learning pathway combining self-care, inclusion, innovation and transnational peer learning. The project aimed to strengthen practitioners’ competences, support the development of concrete action plans and foster cross-border cooperation, ultimately improving services delivered to vulnerable communities.
