The project aimed to empower unemployed women to rediscover their interest in the labor market and prepare them to find employment that meets their personal and professional needs. Its objectives were to facilitate access to the labor market for women affected by the disappearing professions, support career change by providing information on vocational training opportunities and modern labor market requirements, and encourage women to start over by strengthening self-confidence, self-esteem, and professional skills. The project also sought to enhance the organizational capacity of partner institutions through the exchange of experience and best practices, promote international cooperation between VET providers at European level, and contribute to reducing unemployment by motivating women to actively engage in employment or entrepreneurship. Activities including workshops, digital literacy training, job fairs, staff exchanges, and final conferences were carefully designed to address these objectives, ensure sustainable personal and professional development, and create a replicable model for supporting disadvantaged unemployed people locally, nationally, and internationally
The project was initiated in response to the urgent socio-economic challenges faced by unemployed women. Women in the area often remained at home to care for children, elders, and households, while male family members sought work in larger cities or abroad. This situation led to social isolation, low self-esteem, limited income opportunities, and decreased social status for women. Many of them lacked the vocational training, digital skills, or confidence to re-enter the labor market, start a business, or pursue further education. The project addressed the following key needs: 1. Access to the labor market 2. Career guidance and vocational training 3. Self-confidence and personal empowerment 4. Digital skills development 5. Local and transnational cooperation The project was designed to remove barriers to employment, help women rediscover their professional and personal potential, and promote social inclusion and economic empowerment. By combining practical training, digital literacy, career guidance, and international experience exchange, the project directly responded to the needs of the most vulnerable unemployed women iwhile creating a model that can be replicated in other communities across EU
