We want to help our students with fewer opportunities to increase their practical knowledge and digital skills by implementing this project. The project will benefit our teachers and school via the dissemination of the training results. It will increase its visibility and obtain a European dimension. It will pave the way for future collaboration with schools in Greece and open new possibilities within the EU network for the implementation of the existing and future multinational projects.
Permanent modernisation of the hotel industry in our area causes growing need for qualified staff that can apply new digital tools in everyday work in the Front office. Our analyses showed that students have good theoretical knowledge but lack the opportunity to apply them in practice. Practical training in the leading tourism economy country will meet this need and lower the mismatch between the education and real work environment, and this will lead to better employability of the students.
