Developing work regarding motivation and goals strengthens the individual to empowerment, which can contribute to active citizens in society where participation and belonging are the fertile ground for continued development.
Adult education should convey knowledge with the goal of enabling individuals to work and function in society. Education should promote individuals' development and learning through goals and motivation, where knowledge creates the conditions for active citizenship - as an individual, professionally and as a member of society. Through well founded choices, individuals can take decisions for themselves and the context in which they live in both short and long term regardless of background.
