Our primary goal was to empower our target group by building their personal and professional resilience. We had three core objectives: Promote mental well-being by providing entrepreneurs with the practical tools and support systems to manage stress and prevent burnout. Foster conscious entrepreneurial learning, shifting the focus from a purely profit-driven mindset to one based on passion, resilience, and positive societal impact. Strengthen the employability and self-employment potential of adults aged 25-40, providing them with the personal and professional skills to sustain their careers.
We applied for this project because we identified a critical gap in the support system for young entrepreneurs. In both Sweden and Belgium, adults in the 25-40 age group face increasing employment precarity (25-39% in temporary contracts) and very low self-employment rates (approx. 7%). While business incubators exist, we found they focus almost exclusively on the business idea, neglecting the person behind it. This leads to high rates of burnout and isolates entrepreneurs. Our project addressed the urgent need for accessible tools for personal development, mental well-being, and "conscious entrepreneurship"—an approach driven by passion and resilience, not just profit.
