Through the project, we wanted to create more opportunities and increase commitment, power and influence in democratic processes for young sports leaders and young people from socio-economically vulnerable areas in Sweden and Larache (Morocco). We wanted to enable participants to learn how to promote inclusion, diversity, tolerance and democratic participation. By giving young people from socioeconomically disadvantaged areas the opportunity to participate in this cross-border exchange and collaboration, we wanted to give them the chance to develop themselves and thus gain the power to influence and grow. Against the background that we see that young people from socio-economically vulnerable areas have fewer opportunities for participation and inclusion, we wanted to change this with the help of this project. The project's formulated sub-goals: Sub-goal 1: Developed leadership and increased power to influence, through exchange Sub-goal 2: Increased inspiration and motivation through an understanding of how the individual can make a difference, knowledge of how to influence in both informal and formal situations. Sub-goal 3: Developed the ability to work together to reduce the fear of conflict and sense of competition that can arise in sports and leadership environments Sub-goal 4: Increased democracy and intercultural competence, counteract bigotry and oppression
