The goal was to integrate people with and without disabilities into a variety of activities, fostering inclusivity and diversity. By implementing the principles of Antonvosky’s Sense of Coherence (SoC), namely comprehensibility, manageability, and meaningfulness, we aimed to integrate mixed groups into everyday para-vaulting activities. We at Caprifolen has through the years also added predictability to the way of work. Which has a huge effect on how we prepare as leaders for making it as smooth as possible for our participants of any activity. Using these principles we created a safe space where our mixed group could thrive. The activities fostered through the project aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle for both people with and without disabilities. A strong emphasis was put on creating healthy habits that were accessible to people of all abilities. With these objectives in mind, we aspired to inspire the young participants to have an open mind in their approach to new activities and to find innovative solutions to challenges they may face. Together with enriching the participants' experience a central objective of this youth exchange (YE) was to create ambassadors for diversity, inclusion, and integration. Aiming to expand young people's perspectives on mixed groups and teamwork, expand their knowledge through the Erasmus+ key action, and create bonds between people with and without disabilities in mixed groups and across borders. By using equestrian vaulting, circus, and movement, we created an environment based on no judgment and acceptance. In such an environment, the YE participants were encouraged to express themselves through the activities provided. Finally, by participating in a live and digitally event, the participants could demonstrate what they had learned throughout the YE and the partner leaders together with the participants could talk about the result and purpose of the project with the visitors/audience.
