We wanted to bring art closer to the users - before the project started, we identified only a few (4-5) users who expressed themselves more often through art language. We wanted to encourage other users to let colours, materials, different techniques speak to them and to see if artistic expression could be a suitable leisure activity for them too.
VDC Zasavje is a social care institution for people with MDR. Our vision is Inclusive, Innovative, Connected and Sustained Achieving Goals for the Good of People and Nature. We want to offer work and leisure activities through which users can integrate into society, break stereotypes, cross their boundaries. That's why we chose a project to organise an exhibition in the Meat Cultural Centre - just like other artists from the local area.
