Objectives

To strengthen international cooperation with organisations active in the field of amateur theatre. To enhance the capacities of staff and external collaborators responsible for developing this field by equipping them with new knowledge and insights into the state of amateur theatre in other countries. To explore good practices in the inclusion of diverse target groups, the engagement of volunteers in organisational structures and programme development, and the design of sustainable projects.

Background

The ACTing SmART project was conceived as a joint entry of the member organisations of the international amateur theatre network CEC into the Erasmus+ programme. JSKD as the national network for amateur culture, had previously participated in Erasmus+ mobility actions. Focusing on a single field of activity—amateur theatre—brought both specific challenges and advantages to the implementation of the project. Each host organisation welcomed several participating from different countries.
