We wanted to achieve several goals. Experiential learning: Participants gain international professional experience, acquire or upgrade existing knowledge and skills, and develop entrepreneurial digital and green skills. Acquisition of transversal competences: They upgrade and acquire skills in an international environment, golden life, and thereby develop values (respect, tolerance, and responsibility). Acquire language competences: Improve their language skills and professional vocabulary.
Our school has been educating students for over 60 years. Students come from 12 municipalities in Carinthia. Students can study in a lower vocational program, in three secondary vocational programs and in vocational-technical programs. We also offer the possibility of studying in five secondary vocational programs and in a vocational course. The programs are implemented at two locations, namely in Slovenj Gradec and in Muta (25km away from SG). Most of them are students with fewer opportunities.
