The main objective of the project was to strengthen the quality of youth work by developing the competences of youth workers, trainers and youth leaders, while providing them with high-quality international learning experiences in the fields of sustainability, non-formal learning and inclusive youth work. The project was based on the vision of Zavod Veles, which promotes sustainable living, cooperation and community development. Through international training activities, we aimed to empower participants to design and implement high-quality youth activities, strengthen their leadership and facilitation skills, and expand their knowledge of non-formal education methods. Particular emphasis was placed on personal development, intercultural learning, sustainable project management, and connecting youth work with nature and local communities. An important objective of the project was the inclusion of young people and youth workers with fewer opportunities. All activities were designed to be accessible, inclusive and responsive to the diverse needs of participants. In this way, we contributed to greater equality of opportunities and enabled meaningful participation for those who often face barriers to taking part in international mobility projects. The project also strengthened international cooperation among partner organisations, reinforced long-term partnerships and contributed to the development of new joint initiatives. Throughout the activities, we promoted active European citizenship, solidarity, sustainability and responsible engagement within both local communities and the wider international context. By implementing the project, we contributed to the objectives of the Erasmus+ Programme by supporting high-quality youth work, inclusion, sustainability, the meaningful use of digital tools in learning processes, and the professional development of youth workers. At the same time, the project supported the long-term strategy of Zavod Veles to expand international cooperation, empower young people and contribute to the development of resilient and sustainable communities.
