Objectives

The aim of the first professional development activity, titled V.I.P. Training Course: Visual Impact Party, was to introduce youth workers, educators, and other professionals working with young people to the basics of graphic facilitation and the use of visual techniques as a tool to support learning and youth work. Participants learned the fundamentals of typography, color use, shading techniques, and how to create high-quality posters. The activity focused on building a space for idea exchange, encouraging creativity, and embracing mistakes as part of the learning process. Participants developed their own visual vocabulary by collecting ideas for simple illustrations across various thematic areas and learned how to transform complex information into visual representations. The aim of the second activity, titled Digital Youth Works! The Mental Health Edition, was to empower youth workers, volunteers, teachers, and social workers with a variety of digital tools and approaches applicable in both local and international contexts. The activity sought to enhance participants’ skills and knowledge related to digital tools, demonstrate how these can be effectively integrated with traditional methods, and explore their potential in promoting young people’s mental well-being. It also provided a platform for sharing good practices and tools in the field of digital youth work.
