Objectives

The Erasmus+ Entreception 2.0 project aimed to support youth workers and teachers in formal education in guiding young people towards entrepreneurship using coaching methods to prevent young people from becoming socially excluded or NEET. The project focused on addressing a key problem facing modern youth: social exclusion. Many young people are under pressure to follow careers that are not aligned with their interests or ambitions due to various social and economic circumstances. Some even find themselves in a situation where they are not in education, employment, or training (NEET group), which further increases the risk of social isolation and long-term unemployment. The Entreception 2.0 project was designed to prevent these challenges and also highlighted the importance of integrating formal and non-formal education and non-formal approaches, thereby increasing the inclusion of young people and improving their conditions for personal and professional development. The main objective of the project was to provide young people with access to professionally trained youth workers and teachers who could effectively guide them in developing their skills and help them pursue their career and entrepreneurial goals. To achieve this goal, the project used entrepreneurship as a tool to promote the active participation of young people. Combined with coaching methods, the emphasis was on developing the individual’s internal resources, strengthening self-confidence, and learning to solve problems. Through these methods, participants learned how to recognize the potential of young people and provide them with the necessary tools for a successful transition to the world of entrepreneurship or other forms of professional engagement. The key objectives of the project were: • Learning how to use entrepreneurship as a tool to prevent social exclusion and reduce the risk of a NEET situation in young people or prevent their social exclusion; • Developing internal potential, discovering strengths and internal resources in youth workers and teachers; • Enabling cross-sectoral exchange of experiences and establishing long-term cooperation; • Changing mindsets from problem-focused to solution-focused; • Promoting change in local communities regarding attitudes towards socially excluded and NEET youth.
