This project will empower young LGBTIQ+ people to share their own experiences and knowledge with their peers, train peer educators to transfer knowledge and experience in a quality, youth-friendly, engaging and effective way, and provide professional mentoring support to ensure the learning process. We will empower our Association with a team of peer educators who will apply the concept of peer education in non-formal education within the Association in the long term, and with trained mentors who will develop and support existing peer educators and train new generations through the application of our mentoring scheme. Objectives: to train and empower young LGBTIQ+ people in the peer education approach and methodology; to support young LGBTIQ+ peer educators in their work; to empower Ljubljana Pride Association as a youth LGBTIQ+ organisation that uses the concept of peer education within its work.
