The aim of the project was to gain inspiration and practical examples from the Learning Cities of Cork and Ljubljana to improve the quality of our activities in Trnava. We wanted to strengthen our capacities in managing a Learning City, stakeholder cooperation, funding strategies and international collaboration. At the same time, we aimed to support innovations in connecting local government, business, education and the third sector, and to apply these experiences in our community.
Lifestarter NGO operates in the field of non-formal education and lifelong learning. We develop programmes for young people, adults and seniors, and we lead the Learning City Trnava initiative. The project is directly linked to our goal of improving quality and innovation in education through connecting local government, business and the third sector. The knowledge gained from Ireland and Slovenia is used in shaping our activities and strengthening cooperation at both local and internat. level.
