The YouPower! project, born from discussions on global challenges during an Erasmus+ event where partner organizations members met. Our project's focus on encouraging critical thinking towards health aligns with the educational and reflective nature of these programs. The emphasis on mental and sexual health, prevention of disorders, and promotion of physical activities directly supports the EU Youth Strategy's goals (https://youth.europa.eu/strategy/health-wellbeing_en). We want to provide a platform for holistic development, and our project contributes by addressing these critical aspects of well-being. We aim to empower 35 participants by fostering critical thinking towards health and well-being. Emphasizing mental and sexual health, addressing eating disorders and addictions, and promoting physical activities align with the EU Youth Strategy's goals for healthier generations. Equipping participants with tools like mindfulness and nature-based activities further supports the EU's comprehensive approach to youth well-being. The project's objectives also include raising awareness of the EU Youth Strategy, specifically focusing on the European Youth Goals for 2019-2027, contributing to a shared vision of well-being and resilience. The project aspires to empower 35 participants by not only providing them with crucial tools like mindfulness and nature-based activities for self-prevention but also by instilling a sense of critical thinking in matters of mental and sexual health. The project's focus on enhancing overall well-being aligns seamlessly with the objectives of youth work, aiming to equip young individuals with resilience and strength amid the challenges they face.It reflects a youth work perspective that seeks to address the specific needs and concerns of the youth demographic, fostering their personal growth and development through emphasizing preventive measures and promoting healthier lifestyle and wellbeing.
