Project “Upcycling Revolution” was a Youth exchange programme where we creatively addressed the global issue of Fast Fashion and presented possible green alternatives - upcycling techniques. Our project objectives were to spread awareness about the issue by implementing hands-on workshops designed to explore participants creativity and refine their soft skills linked to the activities done in groups. The goal was to motivate young people to share their new knowledge in their home environment and to spread the new responsible habits. Another key aim was to build an intercultural bridge between the local community in Slovakia and the international participants. To achieve this, we organised a SWAP event in collaboration with our Slovak partner “Kolobeh,” creating a space for cultural exchange, sustainability practices, and community engagement. Overall, the project sought to strengthen both the personal and professional skills of participants while providing a platform to explore different cultures, habits, and perspectives—ultimately fostering respect, inclusion, and diversity.
