The main project objective is to increase QUALITY and QUANTITY of SUSTAINABILITY YOUTH PROJECTS in ecovillages and other sustainability projects. This will be achieved by increasing the knowledge and skills of the youth workers who will then be applying it into their youth projects, youth work and sharing it further in their home groups, networks and organisation. By the end of this training the youth workers will learn key terminologies for the Erasmus Plus Program, understand the ERASMUS 2021-2027 aims, and explore opportunities in the youth and sustainability sector, including ecovillages and ecovillage networks. They will understand European Youth Work's aims, strategies, and goals and how these apply to participants' youth work. Participants will also understand sustainable youth initiatives, prepare an application, and work with others to improve it to establish future ERASMUS youth projects. The training will improve their grasp of non-formal education methods and youth work. After this training the youth leaders will understand the project lifecycle, project management, task distribution, budgeting procedures, participation agreements (partner organizations), formal and organizational features, and implementation and follow-up. The participants will learn about other sustainability projects and their organisation that they represent and share best practices. They will learn how to identify the key competences learnt and record them into Youth Pass certification. We are aiming at 7 participants - trained up youth leaders, who will at the end of this training organise internal training for their colleagues, youth within their group, network or organisation in order to pass on the newly learnt knowledge and skills to their network and create a multiplying effect. During the training, the youth workers will prepare project drafts for real youth projects in sustainability and will continue to work on them after the project ends. They will receive help and support from the trainers and the other youth workers even after the completion of the training. The follow-up projects will - contribute to youth workers´ personal development - promote sustainable lifestyles among young people, counteracting climate change and fostering the transition to a low-carbon and resilient society - inspire youth to become active citizens Participants will also improve their social skills such as speaking clearly, listening actively, and negotiating when working in teams, in group discussions, and when developing their project idea. Given the diverse nature of the training, the youth workers will also improve intercultural competence, by having to work and cooperate in a multicultural environment. Participants from different countries and backgrounds will practise and improve intercultural skills. The training's sustainability emphasizes civic skills, their values, and the European Youth Strategy, Youth Goals, and ESC goals. Environmental sustainability boosts STEM skills. This training will offer youth workers to use technology in developing their projects and improve their digital abilities. They will learn about online shared documents, shared spaces and a webgate website. This training emphasizes networking, collaboration building, and peer learning. The participants will collaborate in small groups and form partnerships with other young leaders and organizations. The project's learning outcomes will include entrepreneurial, civic, personal, social, and learning to learn competencies. Brainstorming and project design are elements of entrepreneurial competency. Making their own projects encourages youth workers responsibility, creativity, and action. Youth projects that teach ecological and sustainable technology, especially STEM, will promote the same important competencies. Participants can expect to gain inspiration and motivation by sharing practices, gain new ideas for improving their work, increase international contacts, participate in future projects, and improve intercultural communication and representation skills. Ecovillages in general and the partners in this project are committed to providing youth with quality tools to address sustainability issues.Ecovillages promote active civic engagement, entrepreneurship, creativity, and a solution-oriented approach. Ecovillages create inclusive and participatory structures based on values such as respect for diversity, regeneration and sustainability, social justice, equity and equality, integrity and transparency. We believe that it is important for youth to learn about these values and attitudes in order to be equipped to face the challenges of today's society.
