8 students were trained at Hotel La Palais and Jan hotels (Duo Hotel) in Prague, and 8 students at Hotel Daun and Hotel Zur Linde in the Essein region of Germany, with the aim of acquiring innovative digital-based professional skills in accommodation and travel services, and professional skills suitable for multicultural customers in gastronomy. The aim was for the participants to gain the ability to work and apply in real business environments through the internship.
Our district is a major tourism destination in Mersin. However, it hasn't developed to the same level as Antalya/Muğla and hasn't broken its traditional service approach. As of 2025, initiatives have begun to attract the attention of foreign tourists, and our school graduates are becoming preferred for the workforce with the skills the sector demands. Thus, increasing employment rates for our graduates is on the agenda.
