In our country and in the world, the population of disabled individuals corresponds to 10% of the total population. It is seen that disabled individuals, who need inclusion the most, face different problems in the cities they live in. When the social, physical, psychological and social needs of young people and disabled people are taken into consideration, it becomes clear how important accessible cities are. Accessibility is a very important issue for disabled people in terms of being able to participate in scientific, economic, social and professional activities. In order for disabled people, who have the right to participate in all kinds of social, cultural and entertaining activities, to benefit from these rights, physical and structural obstacles in the environment must be eliminated as much as possible and environments that facilitate communication must be provided. Since it would not be economical or rational to build different spaces and structures for the disabled, the accessibility factor in both the project preparation phase and existing buildings should be taken into account and the necessary arrangements should be implemented. The restrictions in our lives during the pandemic process once again remind the society of the importance of accessibility. Awareness should be raised in local governments that the cities where life takes place are streets, avenues, parks, children's playgrounds, sidewalks, traffic regulations, all areas that provide public services and are open to the public, and spaces that need to be reconsidered based on the accessibility of urban transportation services. This project aims to support the number of accessible cities and making the cities we live in more accessible by better understanding the concept of accessible city and the needs of disabled individuals. With the activities to be carried out during the project, it is aimed for young people to get to know the cities they live in more closely and to strengthen their ties with the cities they live in. At the same time, young people will be helped to understand what the cities they really want to live in should be like.
