There are many reasons why we wanted to carry out this project. First of all, we aimed to share our curiosity and interest in aviation with a wider audience. We started to organize regional activities such as drone operations and model aircraft construction. Later, we decided to take our project work one step further through the Erasmus+ program. Our community leader, Mr. Yasin, gave us a presentation on how the project would be structured, and we then prepared the project in the Erasmus+ format. The most important factor motivating us to implement this project was to contribute to the wider dissemination of aviation activities. Conducting an international project helped our aviation initiatives gain visibility both in Türkiye and abroad. Carrying out the project with experienced and inexperienced participants, as well as disadvantaged groups, is also in line with the main objectives of Erasmus+. Through drone activities, theoretical studies, simulations, and practical applications carried out with different cultures, we provided our participants with a unique experience in the field of aviation. Together with our partner Macroair, all participants were awarded Ministry of National Education–approved drone flight certificates, in short, official licenses.
